Nomad House "Singahub"

Nomad House, at 4300 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6, Singapore, seamlessly merges workspace and residential living. Its 10-level complex, spanning 31,200 sqm, boasts a modern façade blending glass, steel, and concrete. With communal amenities and convenient access to lifestyle offerings, it redefines urban living in Singapore.

URBAN ITINERARY = SOCIO-CULTURAL CENTER

The project is located inside an old and shabby Muslim farm at the foot of Castle Nogalte-Spain. This is the historic district that is socially and physically isolated from the castle and the rest of town, inhabited by gypsy families. The aim of the intervention is to integrate the "gypsy population" socially and physically with their environment.

"A closed city can be designed and operated from the top down; it's a city that belongs to the owners. An open city is a place from the bottom up; it belongs to the people." This proposal explores a design methodology that works based on a combination of principles including biology, computation, urban design. It explores a non-humanistic view of urbanism.
