11Runner-upNew Opera for EstoniaFor the competition Opera by the Sea, we designed a building in a wave like shape. It's almost fully in wood to live up to the current challenges of climate friendly building. The concept includes the surrounding, public space and of course the concert hall.

Referring to the coastal situation of Tallinn the leading concept of form and function was determined simply by a sea shell. Within lies a precious pearl that attracts people from all around the world. Similar to a lighthouse, the opera calls for its visitors and invites them to an unforgettable visit.
