CoDA Architects was born in Brasília in 2011, working on projects of different scales and programs. The office was founded by architects Guilherme Araujo and Pedro Grilo, partners since 2006. At the end of 2008, the architects were invited to build the new Fabrika Films headquarters, a project that received second place in the 2015 New Architecture award in Brasilia. During the Fabrika construction process, the idea of ​​forming an interdisciplinary office of architecture and design. Today, the office has a technical staff of around 20 professionals, including architects, designers and students, in addition to a fixed group of partners who develop complementary engineering, installation and landscaping projects as required.

Ophélie Herranz and Paul Galindo practice in Madrid under the name of NOMOS, after working for 10 years as PYO. Together with Katrien Vertenten and Lucas Camponovo, they run a two-headed studio, based in Geneva and Madrid. They work on projects of all scales, from furniture to masterplanning, with great interest in cultural context and the environment. Using drawing primarily to shape their ideas, they explore new ways of creating community through buildings that seek opportunities within constraints. They approach each project with enthusiasm, care and curiosity; always striving for sustainable beauty. NOMOS has been shortlisted for the 2020 AR Emerging Architecture awards, longlisted as Emerging interior design studio of the year at Dezeen Awards 2020, and longlisted as Emerging architecture studio of the year at Dezeen Awards 2021. With their project “La Nave” in Madrid, they have won the Dezeen Award 2020 in the apartment interior category and the FAD Opinion Award 2020 for Interior Design. “La Nave” is also a finalist project at Simon Architecture Prize 2020. “Bombar” in Geneva has been longlisted in the restaurant interior category at Dezeen Awards 2020 and nominated at Simon Architecture Prize 2020. Their medical center in Kaya in Burkina Faso has won the Premio COAM 2019 for Exemplary initiatives in relation to architecture and has been nominated for 2019 Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
