The building structure is made of natural materials and embeds itself appropriately in the natural context to relate the site-specific existing timber construction.
0Honorable MentionWatchtowerThe design proposal is a hybrid between a typical Norwegian cabin and an observation tower with connection to the local context. The project provides a refuge space for the trekkers and serves also as tourist hospitality space. In addition, the facility is equipped with an observation point overlooking Lake Vågåvatn and the surrounding mountains.
