UnIADA '21

A beginner in the world, learning urbanism and architecture, hopes to go beyond that, and expand the boundary, such as design, science and so on. But I want to integrate what I have mastered and specialize in what I should do.

Boldyreva Polina is a master of the Moscow Architectural Academy (MARHI, department of residential buildings). She is engaged in search, development and mathematical calculation of new constructive and volumetric solutions of meta-structures is fond of space architecture. In 2019 Polina graduated from the MARHI courses BA Honours. She is a prizewinner of Russian and international architectural student competitions in architecture (“Glass Tower challenge”, “Hybrid futures. Work and fly”, “Skyhive. Skyscraper challenge”, etc.), a participant in design and theoretical seminars and workshops (“NER-City. New Settlement Element”), author of research articles (“Meta-structures. New techniques and principles in shaping and functional organization”, “High-rise buildings with a bearing skeleton in the form of spatial honeycombs”).

Enrico Pontello is an Italo-British Architect based in Zurich. After attending his Master's Degree at CITA (Centre for Information Technology and Architecture) and graduating at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen with a thesis focused on ice formworks methods for concrete structures, he joined the Computation team in BuroHappold. Enrico is currently working for Santiago Calatrava Architects and Engineers where his knowledge on computation and BIM workflows are implemented on a daily basis project. His strong interest in research and academia let him continue to publish scientific papers and public dissertations.

Aditi Sharma is a designer and researcher based in Mumbai. After completing her Bachelors in architecture, she pursued Masters of Interior Design and Architecture with specialization in history, theory and criticism, a program embedded in research at CEPT University, Ahmedabad. Following her passion for travelling as well as research, she continues to study the intersection of spaces, culture and history in different contexts. Besides the latter, she thoroughly documents her journey with photography.
