UnIATA '22
World's best graduation projects ever created
Judging criteria
Participant + Institution: The entries coming in for UnIATA in this mode will be directly entered to the final eligible entries to be evaluated because of the pre-moderation of entries coming in from the participating institutes.
Shortlisting: After all entries are received, 20% of these will be shortlisted for further evaluation. A regional winner would be selected among the shortlisted entries across each of the 7 regions. The bachelors and masters winners from each region will compete for the final worldwide trophy. Two proximate regions can be merged if the participation from a certain region is below the expected average of received projects.
Institutional Evaluation (For Participant + Institution only): The average score of all shortlisted submitted projects per entering institutes will be tallied on the leaderboard which will give the institutional winner.
The entries coming in for UnIATA as an individual will be moderated by the UNI Awards team and Curatorial Committee to filter the submitted entries before merging these with a jury pool of evaluation. They will be judged on the following judgment criteria:
- Presentation: The fundamental to a good entry is a good presentation.
- Concept/Idea: Quality of thought and intent in the pre-design phase.
- Spaces/Programme: How the spaces are calculated and ordered.
- Design Outcome: The final architectural outcome of the solution.
The judging panel can also add other criteria based on their internal discussions - which will be in line with the problem statement. Participants are advised to fulfill the above criteria first in their design.
