With his in-depth understanding of men, cities and global issues, he continues his mission as CEO of the Global Creative Leadership Initiative focusing on transforming traditional knowledge into new technology. Lectures internationally and teaches in France and in China. Serves as board member, resource person to the EU Commission ICOMOS, Shanghai University and in industry think tanks. Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite of French Republic in 2013 and de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2016. Board Director of Futures Cities UK since July 2013. Past Chairperson of State Land Development Company (Smart Mauritius), Chairman of Construction Industry Board since 2015. UN Habitat Special Envoy since 2016, Chair of the Port Louis Development Initiative since 2017 and Africa Clean Energy Solutions since 2019.

Majora Carter is a real estate developer, urban revitalization strategy consultant, MacArthur Fellow and Peabody Award winning broadcaster. She is responsible for the creation and successful implementation of numerous economic developments, technology & green-infrastructure projects, policies and job training & placement systems. Carter combines her corporate consulting practice focused on talent-retention, and applies it to reducing Brain Drain in American low-status communities. She has firsthand experience pioneering sustainable economic development in one of America's most storied low-status communities: the South Bronx. Carter creates vision, strategies and developments that transform low-status communities into thriving mixed use economic developments. Her approach harnesses capital flows resulting from American re-urbanization among all ages, races, and income levels, to help increase wealth building opportunities across demographics left out of this historic financial tide change. Her work produces long term fiscal benefits for government, residents, and leading private real estate developments.

Jacob’s approach to design is both creative and scientifically founded. Although formally educated as an architect, his interests lie in projects that are deeply rooted in the environment and local climatic conditions. He strives to create places that connect the built environment and landscape into one.
