Farby Apartment by Makhno Studio: Eclectic Luxury Living in Kyiv
Farby Apartment by Makhno Studio is a two-story Kyiv home blending eclectic design, artistic details, Scandinavian warmth, minimalism, and family-focused functionality.
Located in the heart of Kyiv, Ukraine, the Farby Apartment by Makhno Studio is a two-story masterpiece that seamlessly blends eclectic design, playful art elements, and functional family living. Completed in 2020, this 225 m² apartment demonstrates how contemporary interior design can balance sophistication, creativity, and comfort, making it an ideal urban family nest.

A Family-Oriented Layout with Artistic Flair
The apartment is thoughtfully divided into two main zones: the first floor accommodates the guest area, featuring a spacious living room, an open-plan kitchen, and a guest bedroom, while the second floor is dedicated to the master suite, including a master bedroom with a terrace and a children’s room. This division ensures privacy for the family while providing a welcoming environment for guests.

Eclectic Living Room and Dining Spaces
The living room exemplifies an eclectic mix of colors and styles, creating a dynamic yet cozy atmosphere. Dark, warm tones dominate the kitchen area, featuring multifaceted patterns and textures that make everyday living feel luxurious. Signature 3D Skelja tiles adorn the kitchen wall, paired with custom Makhno Studio lamps, bringing exclusive artistic touches to the space.
Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area is bathed in chocolate hues and highlighted by the striking Polar Night lamp, enhancing the room’s intimate ambiance. The relaxation zone features a plush Baxter sofa and a two-meter-high Kharma floor lamp, creating a perfect combination of comfort and style. Walnut-veneered walls add warmth and a natural Scandinavian touch to the interiors, balancing artful eccentricity with refined minimalism.

Minimalist Stairs and Panoramic Views
A striking glass and metal staircase leads to the second floor, continuing the apartment’s minimalist theme. Natural light floods the space through panoramic windows, complementing inventive elements like the volumetric Urii art tiles in the dressing room. Dark interior tones harmonize with abundant daylight, enhancing the apartment's sense of openness and tranquility.

Artistic Guest Bedroom and Bathroom
The guest bedroom is a showcase of art-driven design. Copper plaster walls, curated paintings, and handcrafted Volcano ceramic lights create a visually stimulating space. The minimalist guest bathroom features black handmade ceramic sinks and organically shaped clay tanks, combining functionality with unique artistry. Black metal and glass elements, paired with light wooden floors, add a dynamic contrast to the room, while energy-efficient lighting accentuates the textures and forms.

Master Suite and Children's Universe
The master bedroom embraces minimalism with a bare ceiling, panoramic windows, and a large leather bed spanning nearly 10 m². Its adjoining bathroom incorporates warm wooden elements, enhancing the sense of comfort.
The children’s room sparks imagination with cosmic-inspired wallpaper, an asteroid Khmara lamp, and reflective Wheat art tiles that mimic interstellar rays. The bathroom features walls adorned with the same reflective tiles, a bathtub integrated into a waterproof structure, and extraordinary Medusa lights from the Makhno collection, evoking oceanic and celestial motifs.
The terrace offers a serene retreat with bent copper wall accents and bespoke ceramic planters, perfect for enjoying tea while appreciating Kyiv’s skyline.
Farby Apartment stands as a testament to eclectic interior design, functional family living, and artistic innovation. Its thoughtful layout, curated art elements, and premium finishes make it a landmark project in Kyiv apartment interiors, reflecting the creativity and precision that Makhno Studio brings to every residential project.
