Ibrahim Joharji, is the chief architect and founder of INJ, deft in all projects commercial, residential or government strengthens the community by meeting customers’ expectations. Based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, INJ has panned its work nationally. The team of INJ constantly aims at promoting harmony and sustainable habitation through their designs, integrating their sympathetic designs well with the sites. Some of their remarkable projects include the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, the Administration and Control Building, the Ministry of Interior, the sustainable villa - MABK villa. Working with extreme humidity in Jeddah and still achieving a sustainable solution is one of their many USPs.
X'ian Train Station, China - INJ Architects
The competition Retail of Tomorrow was a unique challenge that focused on the evolution of the design of the retail sector post-pandemic. The brief pushed participants to design according to the changing times and design for the future. With around 44% of the urban population choosing to avail online services even after the restrictions come down, it required a heavy rethinking of how we reactivate our public spaces again.
