Embracing the View

One of the primary design premises of the MCZ House is to ensure that all areas of the house open up to the view. From the garage to the social and gourmet areas, and extending to the office and suites, the layout ensures unobstructed vistas of the garden and horizon. The nearly 50m width of the plot allowed for a single block design, parallel to the access street and the backyard garden. This strategic placement negates the need for walls at the front of the house, creating a sense of openness rarely seen in local residences.

Topographical Harmony

The slope from the front to the back of the plot influenced the decision to avoid a perpendicular construction, simplifying the building process and reducing the need for extensive topographical modifications.
