Harmonious Indoor-Outdoor Living

Set on a deep plot, Screen House is thoughtfully positioned to maximize outdoor space. The ground floor serves as the heart of family life, designed specifically for hosting gatherings and entertainment. Guests are welcomed through a covered barbeque terrace, which leads into a double-height living area, offering a dramatic sense of arrival.

Oversized glass sliding doors create a seamless connection between the interior and exterior, allowing natural daylight to flood the spaces while offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding greenery. Lush plants adorn the perimeter, creating a sense of immersion in nature, with a lap pool conveniently located near the living spaces.

Thoughtful Interior Design

The interior of Screen House is defined by openness and fluidity. A curated arrangement of pendant lights of varying heights accentuates the living area's soaring ceiling. Handmade timber screen panels cleverly conceal the television when not in use, blending functionality with aesthetic elegance.

A feature staircase runs parallel to the party wall beneath a continuous skylight, ensuring every corner is bathed in natural light. The second floor hosts a versatile family room, complete with a pool table and entertainment area overlooking the living room below. Children’s bedrooms are also located on this floor, providing privacy while keeping family members connected.

The master suite on the third floor is a sanctuary of luxury and tranquility. A private home office, walk-in wardrobe, and ensuite bathroom overlook an open-roof cactus garden, allowing natural light and greenery to permeate the space.

Innovative Architectural Features

Screen House is notable for its delicately patterned metal screens on the second-floor façade. These electronically controlled panels are both decorative and functional—they deflect the western sun, enhance privacy, and form a protective, breathable skin around the home. Custom configurations allow for dynamic control of light and visibility throughout the day.

Inside, oak timber panels add warmth and texture, complementing the white metal screens. These natural oak finishes are also incorporated into custom interior doors and panels. The interiors are finished with travertine marble flooring and upholstered wall paneling, creating a minimal yet inviting ambiance.
