Athenaeum for Architecture
The spatial form of the building is an image of the content consciously hidden in the architectural shape of the building. The building takes the form of a monument, which becomes a reflection of the civilized development of the community that creates it. Such action leaves free interpretation to the observer.

Interesting render of the project from afar, provides a strong atmosphere. Project is too austere for a brief that asks to celebrate architecture.
Certainly has gravitas ! I'm not sure the development from four archaic types is convincing, and the scheme seems to go after the buried past : underground ruins, archaeology, burials. Perhaps this could have been complemented with a transparent above ground mirror image making a theme of the present and the future ? But a good and striking design.
