Project with a materiality very respectful of the tradition of the place, and that allows the Center-City hybridization

So interesting project!

1. How do you think physical spaces make an impact on the users and their mental health? I think that illumination level is very important, the better is natural insolation, the better is the mood. The structure of materials is also meaningful. The wood assotiates with home cosiness, stone with safety, glass with freedom. Besides people have to communicate with nature to find calm in our hasty time.

2. How does the design/form of community center act as a solution to break the stigmas associated with mental health? Building should to be a compass into more happy lifestyle. It should be instinctively understandable and should guide a man softly.

3. What is the concept behind your design idea? Concept of this project was to create a space, which can put people together to help, support and understand each other. Human nature is mostly against dissimilar people, against that people, who really need care. This is the place, where people with mental disorders will be never alone and descriminated.

4. How does your design resonate with the idea of improving mental health condition of the visitors? The glass structure symbolyses openhearted, patient people with active social life. The stone extent symbolises people with mental disorders.

5. How did you use building materials to convey the same? Glass is an lightweight, transparent material, that destroys limits between surrounding environment and inner space of the building. Stone walls are heavy, massive and solid as old fortresses. They close a man from the other world and defend him.

6. What are the programmatic outlines of your Community Therapy Center? This place gives workplaces for professionals in the sphere of mental health(like psychoterapist or nurse). It gives space for volunteer and enlightener activity. It’s also possible to organize charitable concerts in here.Here can run gardening, acting technique or costume courses. It is a good place for everybody needing a snack, a place for reading, study or chill out with friends)

7. How does a data center affect people with its architecture? Ground floor space opens with round secluded lobby. You come to it and you see no problem solvings, you are inside of secluded problem circle. You go out of lobby and see ways for going out of your difficulties.
