Although the conceptual thought is a very interesting one, the functionality and design output do not reflect this thought; the translation of the concept into a building has been taken too literal, resulting in an unconvincing design solution. With strong conceptual ideas, keeping a distance from a literal translation is often the biggest challenge.

The Adsequor

The Adsequor is a sustainable hotel project on the seashores of Izmir where the historical Meles Stream forms an important but unfortunately neglected wetland called Meles Delta, around which a skyscraper zone poorly develops. The main objective of the project is to heal both the wetland and the river through a new approach towards the highrise typology.

THE LINK

A networked co-living infrastructure that is compromised of a decentralized “kit of tools for older adults” which is incorporated among existing urban spaces. My proposal generates a more socially relevant and useful architecture that provides older adults with freedom and empowerment that could correspond more readily to changing societal needs.

END WANDERING

This is a shelter where no dogs are euthanized. The shelter offers a complete socialization process to help reintegrate stray dogs into their homes. In addition, the shelter also provides certain jobs for unadopted dogs, increasing the chance of human contact and improving their chances of being adopted.
