Dynamic Modules Shelter
The Shelter provides a safe stop for thousands of people hiking along the mountain trail. The key to entire proposal is a concept of a ring which is the main residence. It creates an important space inside - the center of entire camp.

At first glance this simple looking design is having much depth thought process. It is answer to many aspects and such modules can be adopted at many such pilgrim places. it is giving good flexibility as well. The idea and concept is good, but requires a lot technical study to achieve the best result. I am really happy with the common gathering space which is been carved out in the center where multi fold activities can be carried away. Individual sleeping pods seems little cramp in the situation of Covid 19. That needs to be resolved.
- Installation and sustaining large multi-story structure is questionable due to harsh weather in specific months. - Circulation and common spaces are in abundance. Should be optimised. - Space for ponies?
The most unique aspect of the entry is that, it dares to strike a 'scaled unified gesture' with the colossal mountainscape around, to dialogue and resonate with its sublime / dynamic /seasonal nature . The project is notable to be able to recognise this need for symbolic / bold anchor and choosing to answer this by the profound simplicity and powerful geometry of "circular fortress" , which is then translated as ring pavilion. Though scale of the ring remains questionable , it design does provide a semblance of a grand maidaan, up in the hills 'a charged ground' full of bustling human activity. The re-interpretation of the conventional model of ground occupying tents is done skillfully into a stacked arrangement and thereby creating a completely a new experience of community interaction INSIDE the pavilion ( in corridors / kitchen) and the OUTSIDE it in open ground. Also its heartening to see the effort of making of a physical model by the participants that shows an evolved awareness and appropriate response to topography by the circular form being stepped and therefore expressing it as non rigid , sublime and poetic. The simplicity of the presentation is refreshing. The resolution in terms of telescopic vertical growing system is well thought of and real enough to be adopted as a practical idea, even though expensive . The realisation of leaving such a structure in place keeping the circular footprint is intact is apt, and highlights a way for humans to build in such terrains , that it must be is scaffolding like , temporary and BY nature having a very light presence .
Good morning Thank you kindly for your opinions. Answering the question: Where is the reserved space for the ponies? I have planned such a place in one of the modules around the ring. I presented it graphically and described it on board number 1.
