This exploded view shows the modular islands of floating landscapes, housing units and industrial barges. The site strategy places the units along the city's edge, being solid in form at the tip and fragmenting away into a single unit.
(Cut left-to-right) Housing is built onto the base, volumetric green space provides relaxation for residents, the central dock provides a community pool and shade pavilion, the base unit for potential infrastructural and utility use, and the inverse volumetric condition of the last green island can be used for water storage or food cultivation.
The idea is the have each resident be able to connect to a green area, to grow food or simply experience being on land, even if it's floating. By connecting each module to the central dock, residents will have the freedom to access this land.
