Proposed site is in Brooklyn, New York USA. The site is name McCarren Park has a significant role in history as it was developed by famous architect Robert Moses. Since years by years this site always faced issue and unable to dignify in urban context. Our proposal is giving another life to famous park and introducing convertible stadium to housing.

Tinker Project

Taking inspiration from the existing skyline of Cairo’s slums and particularly Manshiyat Naser, and by repurposing the most common building materials used such as simple red brick, recycled wood and steel, ‘Ghiya’ was visualized as a striking and optimistic continuation to an otherwise monotonous and often overlooked skyline.

This design intends to preserve collective memories of the train shed by maintaining its architectural gesture and to infuse new meaning to this existent urban void by creating a cultural center that will once again become a converging point for people from different cultures and different ethnicities.
