Nowadays, technology and modernism have caused the endless urban sprawl. Workers have to spend 1/8 of their day to commute, which has caused people's lack of belonging to their hometown. By combining living ,working and recreation within a reachable living sphere, we provide an opportunity for young immigrants and local neighbors to live together.

The multi-functional building mainly provide housing and social areas for its inhabitants. At the intersection of two sides of the L shaped building there is a social core which includes shared space for inhabitants. Social core balances private and public space proportion by providing additional common space to private apartments.

THE CHAIN

As the main concept of the design, homeless youth were considered as a link in the chain. The basic design idea was to create a union that would allow these rings to come together and interlock with each other and overcome these problems. Also, a design was designed to make these homeless young people feel safe.
