Locus Habitat
High Rise mixed-use housing plan in the future Smart City of Bhopal, focusing on Transit Oriented Development. The design aims to make a place for all commercial and residential communities while accommodating the cultural change. The form is derived through lighting & heating analysis with a central courtyard as an interactive core for multiple activities.

Affordable and Luxury houses. Human Icons shows the Family size for each apartment, The elevation on the left shows the Floors they are situated on. There are exclusive penthouses on top floors.
Luxury Houses towards South and Affordable houses towards North.
Bhopal, a new educational and industrial hub leads to influx of new residents which has its impact on existing communities. Local businesses are displaced disturbing the economic balance and fracturing the social and cultural fabrics.
The Flea Market zone provides a commercial place for local street vendors. They Attract buyers not only from the residence above, but also pedestrians on the street. Maintaining the economical cycle.
