Q: What type of design project is "Oil Rings"?

"Oil Rings" is a Urban Planning, Urban Design, Sustainable Design, Concept Architecture project showcased on uni.xyz.

We see oil rigs as a formed system of artificial uninhabited islands. It is in our power to breathe life into them, create a well-functioning system, a new type of scientific and entertainment clusters. Oil rigs should unite and turn from oil rigs into oil rings - a unified progressive structure.

The proximity island will be the habitation of marine life in the long run. In the short run, it grants people a chance to reevaluate their relationship with ocean life and environment. It is not only an anchor point stand in ocean but also a turning point of an coexisting condition that is upcoming.
