The choice of model would make a big difference, as would evoking more of an atmosphere. Casting the shoot is a very important aspect and shouldn't be overlooked.
There was a lot of similarity in the images, the same scene on the same day in the same clothes. All the elements of the image need to be considered to contribute to the story. The pose with the arms in the air, and seeing the models face conveys more feeling and more connection with the viewer. I have a glimpse of a tone of pureness and the sublime but there are formal elements like composition and levels that let this down a little
