In a space voided by destruction, new architectural elements can contribute to create spaces within the spaces, memories within memories and meanings within meanings. The project proposes to refill the space as a museum for local artist and ancient element of Aleppo?s history that creates a spatial awareness both by form and function.

A light structured museum and a public exhibition intervened as an informing and expressive space. Simultaneously, Walkway To Memory allows the user to live the past for moments.

Syria is a land of different cultures and people, and this is a great gift, but sometimes great things can lead to great nothingness. Here the war was born in a state of diversity and non-unity. Certainly, in post-war situation the best way is to develop public spaces like plazas in the cities and, most importantly, in the historic downtown of Aleppo.
