This is a very interesting proposal solved with very compact units that work very well in terms of living space. The addition of this units in larger clusters and the relation to the community areas also solves the idea of colony. The form and position of the construction respond well to living underwater. The tree's growth is more questionable and seem a bit naive.
Mrs. Begoña Fernandez-Shaw thank you so much for the review and critique. I totally understand your point of view and somewhat the representation of the trees creates more a florest, than it is. The advanced in lighting properties allow to create and contain environments, which plants and trees can be manipulated by UV lighting. When we say we will put trees, we gave them 2 jobs, even that it´s something a bit utopic, it is possible to achieve. Trees are a natrual source that produce oxygen, with the right selection of species, we can create an environment which is able to create a ecosystem. The simple fact that we create nature in a underwater habitat, allow people to feel more calm and peaceful, not only by the colour, but as the smell and breeze the nature provide. So yes the idea is naive, but since it is an utopic approach, we can´t forget that in order to create a holistic habitat, you need to bring what makes feel happy living outdoor.
