Rethinking Resilience
The project embraces flood as a natural phenomena as the premise to imagine the possibility of secure human habitation. With this as the central idea, the project defines resilience to be two fold- 1.to be prepared before flood. 2. sustenance and recuperating post flood scenario. In its execution, the project encapsulates this idea at three distinct scales.

Neighbourhood Action Plan
School as the Refuge Institution during flood. Built in Steel and raised above, the speculated flood level, it serves as an relief oasis post flood scenario. Seed banks and provision of electricity and safe drinking water are basic amenities that is shared at this community institution, in the post flood recuperation act, before the help arrives.

Re Imagining the Dwelling unit
Two houses are combined to form one linear unit in two urban plots. One half for construction and one half for free flood water flow without interruption
