RISE OF THE GAURS
Goans are a proud race with a strong sense of rights and duties as citizens. It is for this quality that we have selected as our protest mascot, the Gaur, (a bison) which is the State animal. The Gaur is a large, strong but gentle, timid vegetarian bovine, who displays a similar temperament, he will charge if threatened but will peacefully graze

This Zone starts from the Flag off point from which one delegation can head off to the Legislative Assembly with their grievances for a written submission and the rest of the protestors follow the designated route to the culmination point, stopping wherever decided for sloganeering and increasing their numbers.
This zone has 2 intermediate stops which support as essential services and props along the way. The route is mostly along the river side promenade 5 to 12 m wide and provide space for street plays and theatrical demonstrations. This caters to large amount of parking areas and emergency medical services enroute
The 3D views of the gathering points and the other nodes brings into effect the real time situation along the protest route. The locations were selected on the basis of their accessibility, crowd carrying capacity and availability of essential amenities.
Climate Change and Global warming has brought us to realise that we have to be not just efficient but also sufficient in our energy consumption towards any development and the Solar cum Wind harvesting trees are just the right approach on a water front city to support the energy needs of Rise of the Gaurs
With the current status of governance all over the world, protests of citizens against injustice and poor policies are increasing by the day. Although rebellion is necessary for improvement and change, frequent protests disrupt lives and livelihoods. Planning for protests with limitations of city infrastructure is crucial.
All along the route there would be elements created/ existing elements used as props for the posters .. street art, lamp post, compound walls, bridge piers. Dead walls of buildings would be used for protest graffiti and art. A hologram of the mascot, the Gaur would be installed on top of the multi level parking structure.

I think the overall concept is really good. I would have liked to have seen the protest moments further developed in relation to the city. The idea of a kiosk and water harvesting are good but remain too cautious. What are the implications for the city? How is this maintained? What protects the right to protest and how is that spatialized?
