Analysis and concept
The structure is a combination of two types of buildings. The front building has administrative, catering and service functions. The complex of 14 detached houses is intended for a group of children and their carers. The residential facility allows a total of 172 people to live, including 4 with disabilities. Plan 0 & Plan 1
14 homes are the answer to creating the best possible conditions for young people. The 3 - 4-storey buildings can accommodate 12 - 13 people. There is a 4-person and 6-person floor. Each module has two bedrooms and common space. Bathrooms are available directly from the rooms. Living modules are from level 1, the ground floor has workshop and carer's room.
Plan 3 & detail
The building was designed with materials suitable for the climate in Jackson. The project involves the use of a frame structure. On level 0 - reinforced concrete, above level 1 - wooden (CLT) frame structure with hempcrete filling.
