Time Bubble——The home of the future
In decades to come, there will be no land used for habitation in the city. And people will move their home to the countryside. The home of the future will be just like a bubble that can change (expand, shrink, fuse, crack) according to the usage state of the home.
Project Media
Time BubbleⅠ
The shape of the home will change over time, change to meet people's different demands for home.....
Time BubbleⅡ
With the influence of age, job, hobby... the schedule of one's activity in one day is diversitified, even if they are family. So at different time, people's demand for their home is different.
Time Bubble Ⅲ
In the plan, the area of their home(including private space, hobby space) is different;in the elevation, the height is also various. We choose five timing nodes for further design (0:00;7:00am;10:00am;7:00pm;10:00pm) and show the detailed scenes.
Time Bubble Ⅳ
Our structure diagram is creative. We use the bistratal Bubble Film;Rotation Room;the Integrated Wall;Flexible Parterre;Extension Stem.
Time BubbleⅤ
To meet people's different demands for home, we create Folding Furniture, which is just like the storybook----a new page means a new room with different function.Besides, the Dynamic Parterre and the Bubble Film enable people to be flexible in communicating with the outside world.

Nice, fresh and conceptual approach to future house. Clever ideas and interesting soltuions.
The architectural look and design is very pleasing, however it is not convincing that the house can actually expand and contract according to needs and / or how it is controlled. I am also not sure how it would feel to live in a house where nothing is fixed.
