Urban mAtrA - Shadow of a Tree
mAtrA in Sanskrit means furniture, and the earliest known street furniture would be sitting under a tree. Translating these thoughts into a product for the 20th century urban environments, resulted in the Urban mAtrA - a fold-able, mobile and movable shadow of a tree. Material exploration aided the feasibility of the furniture for extreme climates.
