The project lacks of a good architectural sollution that can be well read both from outside and inside. From inside it looks excessive. From outside it does not improve the previous situation. Could really bennefit from using the references presented as a start.

THE CHAIN

As the main concept of the design, homeless youth were considered as a link in the chain. The basic design idea was to create a union that would allow these rings to come together and interlock with each other and overcome these problems. People are in a rush between their home and workplaces. They sometimes miss the opportunity to pause, look around and feel good. At this point in-between spaces (between home and workplace) in cities draw attention. Our concept is an in-between space which creates an escape point from daily rush.

The base is located in the city village of Shenzhen, hoping to explore a kind of residential mode which is from the city village but superior to it. It is expected that the living mode will grow freely in the mode of city village, with more space vitality, and activate the surrounding environment at the same time.

MODULAR BALCONIES

Project introduce the idea of uniform but diverse design for balcony unit. Although the solution seeks for design and construction which would unified the overall look of the neigborhood's block unities, its great importnace to create this micro enviroments depending on individual needs. Therefore complex set of tools and principles should be introduced.
