Woolscape transforms the lobby of a building through the installation of 58 vertical suspended planes composed of 12,000 wool threads. Reshaping the once static and lifeless area into a vibrant transient space, Woolscape invites passersby to navigate within, and around the structure.

Color Constellation

Color Constellation is a series of star shaped structures suspended from the walls and ceiling of a room. The constellation consists of 5 stars. Each a different color and size. Each is constructed out of flexible soft spandex fabric. It is intended to be pushed, pulled and entered. Once inside visitors are immersed in intense color and the soft forms.

Using analog and digital methods, we were able to create a tunnel that follows the topography of the landscape. The design itself is an arch that changes continuously from one end to the other. The form of this structure is the result of an organic shape generated from one rib design. The focus was to create a beacon for the university community.

Illusory Space

Visual illusions are created when 2D graphics merge with 3D structures. Here, black and white 2D vinyl strips extend into 3D space via black and white wood structures. This creates a Moire effect. As the viewer perceives the sculpture and approaches it from different angles, patterns change. Lines intersect in differing manners leaving the viewer wondering.

Parametric Coal Ceiling_Reparametrize Studio

The final product from Digital Fabrication workshop held by Reparametrize studio working with group of students.The aim behind this algorithms is to generate infinity typology and forms by creating flexible structure system. The ceiling has been designed and subsequently structurally analyzed using grasshopper and Karamba software.
