By reimagining their role beyond books and conventional forms, this dissertation positions libraries as inclusive spaces that promote interaction, cultural exchange, and a renewed sense of belonging within neighborhoods. "The Third Place: Redefining the Public Library as a Communal Anchor" explores how an overlooked public library in Karachi, Pakistan can be transformed into an active community space.
