Barcelona's Carnation Museum of Materials

The Carnation museum in Barcelona is a museum of materials that blends the history and the traditions of Barcelona. This Museum is designed in such a way that it will be considered as a landmark for the people of Barcelona. Utilizing the day light and landscape on the site makes it one of the attractions for the people.

Vertical Museum of Materials

Our idea is to refer to the existing architecture in a modern way. In the area we can see few tower buildings. What if our museum would be also vertical? The exhibition is inside the building and also the building. Each floor is dedicated to a different material which beside the display elements in the interior is seen in the whole volume.

Stochas(p)tic

Stochas(p)tic brings a new definition to the museum. The museum is considered not only as an exhibition space but also as a production center where people gather. It is a seek of the spatial potentials of the coincidental and chaotic situations that the city of Barcelona carries which people tend towards.

Museum of Experiences

Proposal of “Museum of Experiences”, which tells the story about the materials through the senses and experience and integrates haptic sensations on three levels - haptic city, haptic architecture and haptic exhibition. Proposed modest building with town-like scale spaces is connected with the old post-industrial buildings of the Can Ricart factory.
