About Discussions Projects60 Journals63 Publications4 Competitions3

Cultural hubs are buildings and spaces designed to preserve heritage, foster community connection, and facilitate cultural expression. These projects serve as physical anchors for cultural identity while creating venues for public engagement and artistic practice.

The community explores how architecture can integrate cultural centers into existing urban and historical contexts, from temporary installations to permanent institutions. Projects range from centers dedicated to specific cultural traditions to multicultural spaces that encourage dialogue and shared experience across communities.

Interlude is a cultural centre that aims to collect, maintain and promote local traditions and in turn making a sustainable architecture that has almost no environmental impact, thus generating a unique cultural icon in Morocco and North Africa. Just like an interlude in music, this project aims to become a place to have a break from the routine.
