The name of the project is inn because it evokes the inn culture in the past. It is aimed to preserve the vitality by keeping the tradition alive.
12Shade for CultureShade for Culture is a concept of cultural centre fourty kilometers away from city of Marrakech. The idea of the design was to connect a typical dwelling in the desert - tent, the self-shading effect of a cactus and windcatcher towers. The design is made of ecological and sustainable materials and uses one of the oldest construction methods - rammed earth.

The main idea was to create a visually and materially fascinating building that would fit into the surrounding landscape, stand out, but would not overshadow it.
75Institutional Excellence AwardFlower of the DesertChoosing arid climate and Following Biomimetic design, we came to across a plant that lives in the Namibia desert, Welwitschia which is extremely sustainable in Arid areas and lives about 1000 to 1500 years. The unusual form of this plant keeps the soil under the plant cool and moist. The thick leaves lay on the sand surface and prevent wind erosion aswell.
