Natural architecture explores how design can work with rather than against natural processes. This includes biophilic design that connects occupants to nature, sustainable material use, and spatial strategies that respond to landscape and climate.

The community examines projects ranging from gardens and spiritual spaces to museums and large-scale interventions, investigating how architecture can harvest resources, support ecosystems, and create meaningful relationships between people and the natural world.

In Praise of Shadows

It had probably happened to all of us that when we were children, we used to lift rocks near the riverbed to surprise the strange insects hiding under them in the dark. We, humans, are no different from those insects in terms of preferring the safe space of shadows. That's why we chose shadows to design our house.

Spiritual Journey to Oneness

The building is a sacred place for people of all faiths, religion or background to connect with the Divine and their higher self (the real self, awakened aspects of oneself, assessing deeper truths and knowledge). It is designed beyond experience with a series of spaces that allows visitors to experience the process of spirituality.

Our project proposal offers us the experience of creating therapeutic spaces that, following the principles of biophilia, reintegrate with nature through the five senses, supporting the process of healing, repair, renewal and reintegration for the user.

Alluvium

In a desert landscape, alluvium describes a natural process of depositing fertile soil in an otherwise barren landscape. Within this project, titled Alluvium, the natural flows and pattern language of the arid environment sculpt a diverse and rich community experience providing relief from the urban hardscape surrounding the site.
