SHIELD
Shield creates spaces that seek the congregation of all people who need a place of meditation. It proposes two contrasting levels, the lower one is isolated from noise and protected from the city with the intention of disconnecting you. On the other hand, the upper level proposes a green roof that connects you with nature, opening your view towards the park.

Very strong relationship with the site. It is a well conceived structure generating beautifull spaces. The idea of the building as a walking path is very interesting, although it should have more connections with the garden along the way without compromise the idea.
The design uses the symmetrical and soft sunken space as a ring (a relaxed memorial ceremony) to create an atmosphere for fete and shape a divine and memorial place.
The altar-like sunken space and the city wall ruins together create a highly ritualistic and divine fete place.
