12Nano Nest I Vast EgoThis is a house located in TABAS, IRAN. The concept is how tiny spaces were managed for living in old style houses and how they used natural elements for making better life style. In addition, how to respond modern life style needs such as privacy and family connections.
5The Offline Den: Green + compactWe propose a self-sufficient house made from commonly available materials that can be located in an urban environment anywhere. Nano (compact) and Off-Grid (green) are not mutually exclusive in this design.
26Amakan HouseLocated at the center of the village with a unique culture, the lively place of Sawang Calero, Cebu City, Philippines. Inspired by a traditional material, an indigenous versatile material, durable, and sturdy an outer skin of the building gives it a modern tropical vibe.
9Form Follows ClimateMy design uses three similarly shaped buildings graduated in height and differentiated by green play areas. A wooden wall serving as a physical barrier to the street clearly defines the buildings as one entity. The double pitched roof resembles a family home rendering the design welcoming towards children while making use of its climatic advantages.
47Concept of the green crecheWe designed a creche for 100 children, that is answear to actual climate problems. Our goal has been a development of idea that conncects form and function of the building with respect of envinroment's sources.
46Kid's Heaven DaycareOur chosen location is in Yazd, Iran, which has a hot and arid climate, so the architectural design needed to reflect the extreme conditions of the location. The conditions include high temperature difference between day and night, as well as extreme temperature differences between summer and winter. The area is also prone to draught.
4The HOME on Ryhavevej The project questions traditional division between different groups of dwellers which are often found on different ends of the city and brings them together to create a vibrant community into complicated neighbourhood.
