9Form Follows ClimateMy design uses three similarly shaped buildings graduated in height and differentiated by green play areas. A wooden wall serving as a physical barrier to the street clearly defines the buildings as one entity. The double pitched roof resembles a family home rendering the design welcoming towards children while making use of its climatic advantages.
2Ovaland BridgeOvaland bridge is like a living organism - a place thriving with energy and flow. The bridge’s two ‘cores’ communicate with each other through visual and physical permeability, just like biological cells. A curvaceous timber exterior skeleton encapsulates the cores. Upon opening the bridge transforms into an entirely different organism.
1Bro CopenhagenFocusing on connecting both ends of Copenhagen riverbanks and creating a very Danish experience, the bridge becomes the core location of Copenhagen to gather around. Implementing the Danish idea of happiness, "hygge" and inspired by the rich Viking whaling and fishing history, the bridge abstract as harboring boats with hygge-like experience facilities.
23Honorable MentionRailArchesThe project seeks to enhance the void by framing it as a common ground for new conditions, maintaining the spirit as a time pocket within the changing urban fabric. Overgrown & patinated existing qualities which are preserved and captured by a new arcade-like structure, repeated and staggered through the site, creating a non-specific intervention.
4The HOME on Ryhavevej The project questions traditional division between different groups of dwellers which are often found on different ends of the city and brings them together to create a vibrant community into complicated neighbourhood.
4Koala HabitatThe koala habitat fixates on fostering an experience of clusters. Whilst the rehabilitation for Koala remains the integral focus of the scheme, the necessity to create a sustainable environment is crucial. The koala habitat then becomes a holistic enterprise accommodating ecological diversity, koala’s rehabilitation, and learning experience.

9THE LOOPSThis design proposes a continuous fluid space integrating and hovering over the existing topography, creates two separate systems facilitate the different functions of the building, ensures the safety and security of the medical zone while increase the interaction between visitors and koalas.
9The Borobi SanctuaryThis project aims to raise awareness regarding its severity through a rescue and rehabilitation center. A series of spaces are formulated from the process of koala rehabilitation to form a closed loop of informative and engaging experiences. The concept stems from the idea of reinterpreting “enclosure” by breaking down barriers allowing a shared experience.
