About Discussions Projects61 Journals69 Publications50 Competitions28

Urban landscape encompasses the physical design of cities and the integration of natural elements within built environments. This includes strategies for sustainable development, adaptive reuse of urban spaces, and the creation of livable communities that balance infrastructure with ecological systems.

The community explores farmscapes and productive landscapes within cities, green infrastructure interventions, post-industrial site reclamation, and sustainable housing models at urban peripheries. Work ranges from facade transformations and food-focused urban design to experimental housing prototypes and morphological approaches to city planning.

Farmscape

The design is inspired from the traditional geographic farm land pattern of London so it is reflected in design. The iconic form covers majority of the land creating symbiosis between nature and architecture. The necessary functions and programs, zoning and infrastructures are submerged in the design as they will not hamper the natural essence.

(pr)OpenCity

‘(pr)OpenCity’ advocates a collaborative design method for future development: one that allows rapid application with its prototypical nature and an inclusive approach with mediation between the ‘user’ and the ‘urban’. Building upon the concepts of ‘open-sourcing’ in design, this experiment establishes a user-centric design approach to built interiors.

NomadHouse - Under Construction

In response to this increasingly fast-paced contemporary era with increasingly blurred boundaries between home and work, we have been thinking about what is the most suitable way for digital nomads to live today. Through the design of vehicles as residential units, we hope to create a building with the ever-changing preferences.

New urban unit

Every crisis is a shake up of a society. Architecture is also a social philosophy: Campanella's "City of the Sun", Howard's "Garden City", "Arcosanti" Soleri's. This project is an architectural fantasy on this topic. The basis is idea of human needs, from creativity in normal mode to survival in a crisis mode.

Instant City

In the premise of Instant city first proposed by Archigram, we designed a series of mobility architecture that only exists as an incident in time and in space. It becomes an information network, education, entertainment and facilities for a community in lieu of fixed cultural center.
