Miguel Espinosa
Design leader shaping furniture products through creativity, trends, and strategic execution at scale.
I turn ideas into products that reach people at scale.
For over 15 years, I’ve worked in the furniture and cabinetry industry, where creativity meets manufacturing and market reality.
I don’t see design as just output.
I see it as connection.
A way to create things that resonate, feel intentional, and reflect how people want to live.
My path has expanded to include creativity, mindfulness, and personal growth, shaping a more intentional approach to design.
I’m here to explore what design can become when driven by both innovation and meaning.
Marta Klaric
Architect and interior designer crafting bespoke high-end spaces with precision, creativity, and global perspective.
Architect and interior designer specialising in bespoke high-end residential projects, working with private clients and developers across Europe, the US, and the Middle East.
My work is driven by the ability to translate complex visions into refined, coherent spaces, balancing creativity, precision, and functionality. I manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring consistency in design, materiality, and execution at every stage.
A key strength of my approach lies in a deep understanding of Italian craftsmanship and manufacturing processes, developed through close collaboration with artisans and suppliers. This allows me to deliver fully customised solutions, where every detail is intentionally designed and executed.
Core areas of expertise include:
- Full architectural refurbishments and renovations
- FF&E, styling and sourcing
- Bespoke furniture and joinery design
- High-end residential and boutique hospitality projects
I am driven by the pursuit of design excellence, where aesthetics, quality, and innovation come together to create meaningful and enduring spaces.

Arthur Azoulai
Slicelab co-founder bridging computational design, advanced fabrication, and AI-augmented workflows.
I bridge design ambition with technical reality, specializing in computational design, AI-augmented workflows, and complex fabrication consulting.
For 15 years, I've run Slicelab, a multi-disciplinary experimental design studio, evolving from 3D-printed jewelry to AI-integrated sports protective padding. My work spans dramatically different domains: architectural project management at Rockwell Group, fabrication consulting across industries, and teaching AI-integrated visualization at NYIT.
Always exploring: new tools, methodologies, and applications where computational thinking meets creative experimentation.
Mark Aspinall
Sculptor, Royal College of Art alumnus, based in Crotone, Italy.
Mark Aspinall is a British-born sculptor and multidisciplinary artist based in Crotone, Italy, with over 35 years of professional practice. A graduate of the Royal College of Art in London (Ceramic Design, 1986-89), his work spans ceramics, stainless steel construction, traditional iron forging, hot and cold glass, stone carving, and acrylic fabrication.
His artistic philosophy centers on the transportability of understanding and abilities across material fields and manufacturing methods, guided by a continual research into personal aesthetic development. This approach has led to a diverse body of work exhibited internationally, from NordArt in Germany to the Cairo International Biennial, and installations at Spazio Thetis in Venice.
Mark's work is held in contemporary art museums in Cairo, Castellamonte, Gualdo Tadino, and Santa Severina, and in public collections across Italy and Austria. He has received commissions from organizations including Arup Associates (London), Solar Century, and Fondazione Igino Betti (Rome), and was awarded the Cairo International Biennial youth prize (1996) and the Umberto Zanotti Bianco prize from Italia Nostra (2016).
As an educator, he has lectured in Ceramics at Manchester Metropolitan University (1991-93) and in Scenography at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Crotone (2007). In 2019, he presented "MatemArte" at the Pythagoras Museum, exploring the symbiosis of mathematical principles and creative aesthetics in art and design.
Alessandro (AKTII)
Technical Director combining structural engineering expertise with innovation, research, and collaborative design.
I am a Technical Director and structural engineer at AKT II, based in London, with broad experience across complex, multidisciplinary building projects. My work combines technical leadership, structural design, and strategic thinking, with a particular focus on design and innovation.
I have expertise spanning structural analysis and design, wind and vibration engineering, seismic design, and performance‑led approaches.
What drives me is the challenge of turning complex technical problems into clear, elegant, and buildable solutions, while supporting teams to do their best work. I value curiosity, clarity, and collaboration, and I am particularly motivated by projects and initiatives that push innovation and contribute positively to the built environment

Robert Brackett
Designer | Maker | Educator
Robert Lee Brackett /|\
Adjunct Associate Professor with CCE
Co‑Director, d.r.a. | Pratt School of Architecture
Founder, Miscellaneous Projects, LLC
Robert Lee Brackett is an architect‑trained designer‑maker who works at the intersection of hand‑craft and digital fabrication. In 2012 he co‑founded Miscellaneous Projects, LLC with Laura Coombs as a small, multidisciplinary studio. The practice takes on projects in architecture, product, graphic, and furniture design, using a mix of traditional techniques and tools such as CNC milling, parametric modeling, and material research. By combining methods from different fields, the studio often arrives at solutions that feel unexpected—a new way of joining materials, a hybrid form, or a fabrication process that simplifies production.
At Pratt Institute, Robert serves as co‑director of the Center for Design Research in Architecture (d.r.a.). In that capacity, he oversees research that looks at how geometry, material properties, and fabrication technology interact. Recent projects have explored generative geometry, sustainable material systems, and workflow development for digital manufacturing.
Robert has taught a range of courses in architecture and design at several schools, including Pratt, Columbia GSAPP, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the New York College of Technology (Architectural Technologies), City College of New York, and Brooklyn College. His teaching portfolio includes design studios, computational design and fabrication seminars, fashion‑design labs, architectural representation, and software development. Across these roles, he emphasizes hands‑on making, clear visual communication, and the practical integration of emerging tools with established design principles.
