KGA as a practice has been passionately advocating the need to look at culture and heritage for clues to the direction for a contemporary architecture and sustainable development relevant to the Indian context today. In 2004, KGA became the first practice in the world to win the USGBC “Platinum” Award for the greenest building in the world. KGA has won numerous awards globally and has been a member on the panel of sustainability for 2009. KGA regularly contributes at various national and international forums addressing over a vast range of professionals and students pro bono annually on Sustainability & Green Architecture.

Partner and COO of aldayjover Barcelona from August 2011 to present. aldayjover is a multidisciplinary research based practice focused in innovation and in the specific place character, particularly renowned by its leadership in a new approach to the relation between cities and rivers, in which natural dynamics as the flood become part of the public space, eliminating the idea of “catastrophe”. Among others, aldayjover has designed the most important recent public spaces in Barcelona, Zaragoza, Pamplona or Ibiza; and public and infrastructural buildings, housing, and restorations of highly valued historical buildings and city centers. At the urban and territorial scale, aldayjover has elaborated strategic and master planning in Spain, Brazil, or India, developing the ‘socio-ecological urbanism’ concept for public administrations, entities as the World Bank (as urban expert and regular consultant), or private entrepreneurs. Some of the main aldayjover honour awards are: the FAD Prize for City and Landscape(2009), the AZ Awards of Landscape Architecture(2016); finalist of the Spanish Architecture Biennal(2005 and 2009), the European Landscape Architecture Prize(2008), the International Landscape Architecture Prize(2014); and nominated for the European Union Architecture Prize-Mies van der Rohe(2009).

P.K. Das is popularly known as an Architect–Activist. His priority has been to establish a very close relation between architecture and people by involving them in a participatory planning process, while critically responding to the cry for sustainable ecology. His wide spectrum of work includes organizing slum dwellers for better living and evolving affordable housing models, engaging in policy framework for public housing, reclaiming public spaces including developing the waterfronts, protection and conservation of natural areas, re-envisioning the city of Mumbai, along with an architectural practice involving urban planning, urban design, architecture and interior design assignments across India. He has authored several books & publications and has delivered talks and lectures across the world. His work in the development of Mumbai’s coastline and his slum rehabilitation projects has won him several national and international awards including the first Urban Age Award instituted by the London School of Economics and Deutsche Bank conferred to the Mumbai Waterfronts Centre of which Das is the Chairperson. He has also been conferred with the prestigious first International ‘Jane Jacobs Medal- 2016’.

Eduardo García joined Amas4arquitectura in 2004 after studying architecture at the Universidad de Valladolid and at the Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg, becoming associate partner in 2006. During this time with the practice, he has worked both architecture and urbanism, led by a highly ambitious design practice, with a proven track record across a broad spectrum of sectors and scales: winecellars, hotels, residential developments, educational and heathcare complexes, …. The broad interest in architecture is also reflected in the active role of the partner in education. Eduardo García has taught and lectured at ETSA Valladolid, UP Madrid and UFV Madrid. Amas4arquitectura work has achieved numerous recognitions, such as the Architecture MasterPrize 2018 Award for the restoration of the UPSA Chapel.
