H2: Submission Requirements
Participants shall deliver an essay of about 1000 - 1500 words containing a maximum of 3 images.
The essay should ideally be a cohesive piece that answers the brief’s questions and places views and arguments based on the topic.
The images need to be ensured that they are copyright-free or you own their rights.
H2: How to submit?
Read all the competition rules and details from the sidebar, and hit register. You can pay the entry fee and book your registration right away. The registered competition will appear on your profile’s dashboard under the Competitions tab.
The essay submission will be in the form of a Journal at UNI. Once you are ready with your essay, publish it via your Journals tab. To submit it, go to your Competitions tab and link this journal with the competition.
Pro Tips
We have put together a list of pro tips to share with you, to make your competition submissions as well as your portfolio a little more impressive. You can enhance your design sheets by incorporating some additional tips. The improved presentation will enable you to convey your ideas in the best ways.
- Use a spell checker to ensure that the essay is grammatically cohesive – Like Grammarly.
- You can run a readability check on – Hemmingway editor to get insights on complexity.
- We expect the writing to be original – however even when citing - 20% plagiarism level in the text is permitted throughout the essay.
- All the essays or images will be viewed on a digital device. e.g. Laptop screen or projector. Uploaded sheets or images will not be physically printed for evaluation. The submission hence should be prepared for digital viewing only.
- Submit JPEG images only when adding images. (PNG will not function)
