Kazumasa Takada

Kazumasa Takada (MArch, Architect MAA) and Yuriko Yagi (MArch, Architect MAA) are co-founder and lead architects of architectural design studio PAN- PROJECTS based in London & Copenhagen. Since co-founded in 2017 in Copenhagen, the duo has been actively engaging international projects developed based on multi-cultural inspirations. They dedicate their creation to celebrate the diversity of our living world, by conceiving architecture as an art of social fabrication. Their projects often play with multi-cultural inspirations to develop a new value for society. Paper Pavilion they designed for Copenhagen Art Fair is one of the examples when they combined Danish playful sustainable design philosophy with Japanese building traditions in order to expand a new sustainable design methodology. Their projects have been exhibited worldwide: recent exhibitions include Under-35 Architect Exhibition 2019 (2019, JP), 3 Days of Design (2019, DK), “We’re Renovating!” at Museum of architecture and Design – MAO (2019, SI) and Biennale Interieur (2018, BE).
Yuriko Yagi

Jonas Prismontas
Director, Boano Prišmontas, United Kingdom
Jonas Prišmontas (MArch) studied Architecture at the University of East London graduating with a critical thesis about the phenomena of Urban Community Gardens. During his career, Jonas worked in small, medium and large size practices with projects ranging from house extensions to large scale government projects. Tomaso Boano and Jonas Prismontas are the founders of the architectural firm Boano Prišmontas. The studio adopts a creative and hands-on approach as a strategic tool to propose design solutions to the contemporary world. Their body of work often deals with self-built pop-up architecture and art installations. Each project draws inspiration from, and combines, various aspects of art, architecture and technology. Mentionable projects: Minima Moralia, London Festival of Architecture; Quiubox, Milan Design Week; Aidah, Dubai Design Week and 165x165, Unfolding Pavilion during the Venice Biennale of Architecture. We recently won the Arch Challenge Competition and we are currently working with Meanwhile Space, Lambeth Council and the Mayor of London on a pilot project to regenerate abandoned spaces across the UK.
Tomaso Boano
Founder, Boano Prišmontas, United Kingdom
Tomaso Boano (MArch, ARB) studied Architecture and graduated with honours at the University of Genoa. During his career, he worked in various international practices and collaborated with Architect Sans Frontiere UK, developing charitable and sustainable projects for the Afro-Colombian coastal settlements currently threatened by the rising of the sea level. Juan Pablo Aschner
Principal Architect, Juan Pablo Aschner, Colombia
Colombian/Italian architect who holds a postgraduate master’s degree with honors in architecture and a Ph.D. in art and architecture. He codirected the award-winning film Euritmia and has authored or coauthored six books and numerous published articles and book chapters. Director of Dearq Journal of Architecture from 2013 until 2019. Presently he is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Universidad de los Andes. Experienced in architectural design and participatory social design, working on projects of different scales and varying uses such as, for example, the project won by competition to design the Museum for San Agustin’s Archaeological Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. He has also served as head consultant in the formulation of an innovative upcoming new Faculty in Art, Architecture and Design for the Universidad del Rosario in Colombia. Recipient of the 1st prize in the XXVI Colombian Architecture Biennale 2018, publications category, and of an Honorary International Mention at the XXI Panamerican Architecture Biennale 2018, for Dearq; has also obtained research grants from CESED and IDARTES, amongst others. His film Euritmia has obtained two first prices and one second prize in international film and architecture festivals in Turkey, France and Bosnia I Herzegovina.
Javier Gonzalez
Principle, Balmori Associates, United Sates
Javier González-Campaña joined Balmori Associates in 1998 and has had responsibility for managing projects including: Yale Engineering Research Building and Farmington Canal Greenway in New Haven, CT; the Botanical Research Institute of Texas in Fort Worth, TX; Campa de los Ingleses park in Bilbao, Spain; the Headquarters for VIOL in São Paulo, Brazil; Beale Street Landing Park in Memphis, TN and the New York Police Academy, in New York City, NY. Javier is also responsible for the plant reviews and elaboration of planting guidelines for multiple projects in the office. In May 2001, Javier received a research grant from the Hixon Center for Urban Ecology to study and compare the architectural, economic and natural aspects of the High Line in New York City with the Promenade Plantée in Paris. In the summer of 2003, he was an intern in the City Hall of Paris where he had the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary teams on Parisians projects such as “Quartiers Verts” and “Paris Plage”. Javier holds a Master of Science in Urban Ecology from Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies (2003) and a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the School of Forest and Agricultural Science at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, in Argentina.
