RE-UTILITY: Grain bins for housing

laconic black-and-white color scheme of the facades of the residential blocks is diluted with pink administrative and recreational blocks. Administrative block is inspired by a lot of wind in Kansas. cut sections of the silo are raised and form a spiral that resembles the trajectory of the wind. same technique is repeated in the canopy over recreation area.

Combining the relevant research on the characteristics of the grain bins and the local context, we decided to transform the original monotonous cylindrical grain bins into an agricultural accommodation center with multiple functions. It is a SUSTAINABLE SHELTER that can be TRANSFOR, moved, pushed and pulled according to climate change, which just looks like.
