Troy Schaum is an architect with extensive experience in practice at a wide range of scales and project types. He is also engaged in teaching and research as an Associate Professor at the Rice School of Architecture where he as been teaching since 2008. He received his Master of Architecture from Princeton and Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech. Previous to founding SCHAUM/SHIEH, Troy was a project architect at OMA, and he has also worked as a designer at Studio Daniel Libeskind and LTL Architects in New York and in San Francisco at Jim Jennings Architecture.Troy is licensed in New York, California, and Texas and NCARB certified.
César García Guerra

César García Guerra is an award-winning architect and filmmaker who produces work on the borders of architecture, art installation, and film. He believes that the evolution of design disciplines lays in their creative interaction: blending architecture and urban planning, design, and art and infusing narrative on architecture. He completed his Architectural Master in Madrid's ETSAM in 1998 and started in 2003 his practice fündc in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, together with architect Paz Martin as an international architecture and urban design studio now operating from Madrid. fündc ‘s objective is to become a unified source of design solutions; in this sense, fündc offers solutions in transdisciplinary fields: architecture+elderly, architecture+audiovisual, architecture+art,... E.g. they have built projects commissioned by artists such as artist Ai Wei Wei in China, artist Rirkrit Tiravanija in Thailand, transformed large city areas such as the new&old city center in Pozuelo, Madrid or exhibited their research on architecture and elderly on an itinerant exhibition currently touring Spain.
