Beyond physical boundaries, the project serves as a bridge across time, weaving the island’s tragic volcanic history with its glorious musical past. The spatial progression functions as a physical time-line; as artists move deeper into the site, the materials and spatial volumes shift from open, exposed concrete platforms to warm, enclosed natural timber volumes. This material duality symbolizes a journey of rebirth—turning historical trauma into architectural healing.
