Merging Sky and Ground
Sky Art Garden
Episode 1
When we think of Chicago, perhaps the first thing that reminds us of it is a city that is beautiful by accepting contrasts that show both in appearance and in the heart of the city, including black and white, tradition and modernity to pointed out.
If we think more deeply and look at the world instead of limiting ourselves to Chicago, we find out that the world also accepts contrasts that sometimes complement and sometimes not, such as sky and earth. The origin of all arts is derived from the objective embodiment of the thought of people who have tried to express their worldview in the form of that art. Communication with nature is the most essential condition for the artist. The artist is man: he is nature itself,
Part of nature and among the natural space, nature influences many strategies leading to architectural creativity. Man's connection with nature is amazing and at the same time is full of mysteries and ambiguities, so the sky, as a huge and complex part of nature, will need attention.
Episode 2:
First of all, in order to connect these two elements in nature, it was necessary for masses to rise from the ground to the sky so that they could split it and be the basis of this connection.
It has always been possible to see the sky either through the window or through the holes created in the domed ceilings. The architecture of skylights or transparent ceilings allow daylight and the night sky view to decorate and highlight the interior space. These masses opened frames to watch the sky so that we could stare at the sky from the ground inside these masses behind these frames and experience a sense of wonder. Whether watching the stars or imagining the shape of the clouds, it is difficult to limit the mystery and grandeur of the open sky to these frames. The masses used to connect the earth and the sky, like the Giza Necropolis pyramids, are not isolated volumes, but they are connected by a plate where people can walk and visit the Art Garden. The pyramid has a deep connection with our soul, this feeling can be found either by watching it from the outside or by drowning in the sky of the pyramid from inside the building.
Episode 3:
Chicago is a city that needs to create new perspectives. Chicago is so spacious that we feel we have to look at these spaces from another view. We believe that seeing phenomena from a new and amazing view leads to new knowledge and understanding And that means producing a new feeling and an unforgettable memory that comes from the conflict of the human senses It is a way in which it engages people's senses and affects their perception, judgment and behavior.Art is a kind of cognition through which man achieves inner awareness about himself and the world around him. This cognition and knowledge is reflected in various ways in the artist's conscience and is manifested in works of art. His definition goes back to existence, and these different definitions of art will lead to various manifestations.
In this project, instead of presenting an architecture in which everything is predetermined, we tried to create a situation in which human return to the question of being in their own space, a space in which they themselves have moments of being at different times and that means a dynamic and amazing life. Identity includes a sense of being or inner individuality, a sense of wholeness, a connection to the past and present, and a correlation of beliefs and values with the group to which one is supported .Art plays an important and effective role in shaping this individual identity. Artistic activities are closely related to the senses, imagination and emotions of people. Artistic expression is the expression of inner emotions; Therefore, it is better to do artistic activities individually first so that each person has the opportunity to experience abilities and skills, to express their emotions and feelings and express their feelings independently. In addition the ancient history of art of human society In today's world, besides beautiful appearance, it can play multiple roles.
