Defining the single logic
One logic, a thousand openings
Before touching any geometry, the first real decision on Porosity was what should actually drive the façade. Height was the obvious starting point every building naturally separates ground-level privacy needs from upper-level daylight needs so the core rule became: one number, a panel's position between 0 (ground) and 1 (top), run through one shared formula to produce an "openness" value. The goal from the start was to avoid designing 100+ panels individually and instead write one rule the computer could apply to every panel at once. Privacy and daylight were treated as refinements on top of that height-driven base, not separate systems of their own keeping the whole façade legible as one logic rather than a patchwork of rules.
