gathering center
In Zulu 'Ubuntu' means a philosophy of compassion humanity and living together Here we want to help people make good connections and do voluntary work together.
When
we get into this competition ,at the first moment we talked and
search about “what Africa is ,what are African people interested in and read
about their history and culture;
We found out Africans have their unique ethics like being happy and vitality they even have a magical taste in art and music.
People who lives near to our site ,they have problems in
making connection with other people and even have some financial issues if you
compare them with people who lives closer to the beach .
Also, in the cases that the checklist of the competition gave
us, between the youth participation, solidarity, growth etc ;We felt that
solidarity and vitality are the most important things that are needed in this
region, and it is fortunate that the people here have a weakness about it.
The other point is that we decided to implement is to
respect the environment of this climate and region because there were many
trees in the past in this region and there were many different types of
vegetation and plants, but currently they have been destroyed and various
wastes have been left in that environment and polluted it, so we decided that
our design building will be considered a positive step for the development of
the environment and we tried to use natural materials as much as possible.
These two words became an important reference for our
design and ideas.
After all of these, the natural slope on the site, made
the roof become an important element for us, and we though we should pay
attention to our roof as we should pay attention to the plan on the ground.
the
traditional dresses come alive with a mesmerizing dance in the wind. These
garments, woven with vibrant colors and intricate patterns, ripple gracefully,
creating a symphony of movement. And we used it for our form because as
we said in our sheet ,it feels like youth and being happy.
furthermore We talk about “ubuntu” the word which inspired us to make our form.
Another thing we wanted to tell you is we had another form at first but we decided to change that a little and now we have this form which is more elegant and we even thought about entrances and where they are put them in the most central and accessible part of our plan.
