Thoothukudi, famously known as the 'Pearl City' or 'Sea Gateway of TamilNadu' , has been a part of developing ecotourism and connectivity in South India. This ancient Korkai is known for its majestic history and various activities like pearl farming, boat building, salt making, fishing etc,. Being a hot spot for tourism, inspite of having resource, wealth, trade and other facilities, the real essence and cultural identity of it is still not completely visible for users.
